Return policy
All non perishable items that are unused are fully refundable within 30 days of the original purchase date (excluding shipping charges). Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless Brooklyn Homebrew has made a shipping error.

How do I return an item?

Out of Stock Items
In the event a product is out of stock, your order will be shipped without the item. You will be notified by email and will be given the option to have the back ordered item shipped when it is back in stock, at no extra charge.

Yeast
Wyeast Guarantees the viability of yeast in the Activator™ packs for 6 months from the manufacturing date, assuming they are handled properly. Some loss of viability is to be expected. Activator™ packs 4 months or older may require up to 5 days to swell. Activator™ packs will sometimes swell slightly during shipping. This is not an indication of deterioration if the package is less than 6 months old. This is a result of trace amounts of nutrients causing a small amount of activity. We recommend all brewer's make a starter to properly assess their smack pack. All Activator™ packs are guaranteed to be shipped with an ice pack.

Perishable Ingredients
We guarantee the freshness of our ingredients. If you have a problem with any ingredient, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it. Proper use is solely the customers responsibility.
